CMRL (Chennai Metro Rail Limited) is a joint governmental venture that provide transportation in all over Chennai through metro rail services. CMRL Recruitment cell invites application for 719 vacancies in Chennai metro.
These are the vacant post details for which recruitment process are going to held. In which 244 posts are vacant for post code 01 Station Controller/ Train Operator/ Junior Engineer at various stations of Chennai metro. Further, 210 posts for post code 02 Junior Engineer and 265 posts are vacant for post code 03 Technician.
As there post code are described here for three categories, there eligibility criteria, age, experience requirement , pay scale and reservation of posts are different.
Other Requirements Criteria :
For Post Code-01 :
Educational Criteria - Candidate should have three year diploma fron any govt. recognized institute in fixed discipline as ECE(Electronics & Communication Engineering), Electrical Engineering (EE) and Mechanical Engineering (ME) with first division (60%).
Age Criteria - Age should not exceed 28 years.
Post Code-02 :
Both criteria are same for the post code 02 as described in post code 01 previously.
Post Code-03 :
Selection Process : Selection process leads in following steps as:
- Online Test
- Medical Examination
- Character & Antecedents
- Surety Bond
